Following God’s Order

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

We have people, pastors and well-meaning saints that seem to have all this revelation knowledge. Revelation knowledge can only come through absolute, tried and true prophets and not some “wannabe prophet” who is coming up through the ranks. If you feel you have great revelation knowledge, feel you are called to the office of a Prophet (man) or a Prophetess (woman), then you need to find a real prophet who has a proven track record. When you get things all messed up, and you’re going to, and probably already have, they will straighten you out. This is the only way you are ever going to fulfill the office of a prophet if the call is in your life. Most people have very vivid imaginations which don’t make any sense. In order for God to use you, you are going to have to straighten your act up, for God says “be ye holy as I am holy.”

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

People are not interested in this truth, but what they are interested in is other people looking at them as though they are some great one from God. This has never worked as you look down through the ages. GOD’S ORDER AND AUTHORITY for the church or assembly and family came through the prophets.

We have followed the progression of the divine order and authority in which God set in the church as: The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost, the fivefold ministry, the eldership and congregation.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

It is Father God, the Son Jesus, then the Holy Ghost or the Comforter. The 5-fold ministry is the ministry the Lord gave to the church.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some apostles and some prophets and some evangelist and some pastors and some teachers
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

These offices are to give the orders, which the Lord gives to them, and use their God given authority to implement these orders to the church.

The first office is of the apostle representing the Governmental Authority, which is Almighty God Himself. Without a doubt, the apostle was set by God to govern the church or assembly. The anointing in his life gives him authority and power to judge, rule, control, direct and administrate, constitute rules and laws, to exercise continuous sovereign authority over the church.

He is sent by God and miraculous powers are given to him.

Jer 1:10 God set the prophets over the church to root out, pull down, to destroy, to throw down, to build and to plant

The prophets are to lead the church in the direction by the written Word and direct from the throne room of God Himself as Amos 3:7 says. Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secrets unto his servants the prophets.

Eph 2:20 (sets our ways saying) – And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.

Evangelists come in stirring the heart to bring us to salvation with Christ Jesus. The Pastors are set over the sheep to care for their needs. Teachers come in at the direction of the apostles and prophets to bring the Word of God as it should be.

This is God’s divine order order in which we are obligated to follow according to the scriptures.
